A Memorial Day Message
A Way to Remember
Memorial Day, a national holiday, is an essential time to recognize the efforts of the soldiers and thank them for all that they have done for our nation. While you’re out barbecuing and celebrating, be safe and enjoy being together with family and friends, and take time to remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to help and keep the United States the land of the free and the home of the brave!
We appreciate you,
Cimarron Management Team
Memorial Day Safety
The first three-day holiday weekend of the summer is upon us. We all have various activities scheduled for the weekend, which may include cookouts, picnics, boating, swimming, motor sports, work around the house, etc.
No matter what you have planned, please make safety a part of your weekend. Make your weekend an enjoyable weekend. Be careful with the lighter fluid, wear that life vest, be careful on the ladder . . . you know what to do. Take an extra moment and ensure that everything you are doing is being done safely.
If you’re traveling this weekend, be extra careful on the road.
· Don’t follow another vehicle too closely, follow the 3 second rule
· Avoid distractions such as cell phones, the radio, and eating while driving
· Make frequent stops and rotate drivers during long trips
· Never drink and drive
· Practice defensive driving by anticipating the actions of others
Many people will be out and about with many things other than driving on their mind, always keep safety in mind!
